Position Overview:
A confidential company serving the offsite construction and building components industry is looking for a motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative. This role is responsible for managing accounts and increasing sales of trusses, wall panels, and engineered wood products across the assigned region. You'll be the primary contact for builders, contractors, developers, and pro lumberyards involved in residential and light commercial projects.
This opportunity combines relationship management with project tracking and sales growth. You’ll collaborate with internal teams—estimating, design, and production—to keep projects moving from bid through delivery. Candidates must have a strong technical background and existing familiarity with the territory.
Primary Responsibilities:

Build and nurture relationships with regional home builders, developers, and distribution partners

Serve as liaison between customer needs and internal teams

Manage bids, order fulfillment, and project timelines

Monitor CRM system activity and ensure consistent communication

Promote a comprehensive line of structural components including trusses, I-joists, panels, and accessories
Qualifications & Requirements:

5+ years in component manufacturing or construction sales (trusses/panels preferred)

Demonstrated success in business development or territory sales

Strong product knowledge of offsite building materials and structural framing systems

Blueprint reading and spec interpretation skills

Effective communicator—both written and verbal

CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency

Self-motivated with excellent organizational abilities

High school diploma or higher (or equivalent practical experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Territory: Central and Eastern New York Region
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Occasional Saturdays may apply)
Earnings Potential: $80K–$200K+ per year, based on skills and results
Pay Structure: Base + Commission (adjustable for stability or upside)
