Operations Manager. Location Manager.
We're on the hunt for aTruss Plant Operations Manager to join our client's dynamic team in sunny Florida. Our client is a thriving manufacturing and distribution company with multiple plants and a focus on providing lumber, truss, doors, and windows to their customers.Work Schedule: Monday/Friday, limited Saturdays, and average 45-50 hours a week. Markets include single family, single family custom, multi family, and light commercial. Components include: floor trusses and roof trusses. Compensation Salary plus bonus and base pay from $90k to $100k+ depending upon experience. Educational requirements: High School graduate, 4 year degree, and will consider work experience in lieu of degree. Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and/or other retirement programs, profit sharing, and detailed benefits plan - see Company Profile. Relocation is acceptable with reasonable expenses paid and open to negotiation. Other considerations include local lifestyle - suburban, outdoor activities - sports, cost of living - medium, housing - average, affordable housing within reasonable commute, a Non-Smoking facility, a Certified Drug Free workplace, and EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer). Experience required: 3-5 years industry experience, 3+ years experience in this position, and will consider a move up if qualified. Required management skills include ability to prioritize, coordinate and execute multiple tasks, effectively manage self and group workers efforts, clear and accurate written communications, and ability to communicate verbally at all levels. Departments reporting to this position are Production and maintenance. Financial and planning responsibilities include full Profit & loss responsibility, developing budgets to meet objectives, managing to budgets & objectives, must be able to read and interpret balance sheet and P&L data, and must be able to develop detailed business plans, budgets and financial reports. Human Resources duties include identifying personnel requirements, developing position descriptions, interviewing, performance reviews, hiring & termination decisions, and diciplinary actions.
