Position: Design Manager J15376 Design Leadership: This is a great opportunity for a strong, experienced leader. Work with an established company boasting a 30+ year history and with a great mix of experienced and junior designers on the 8 person team that you will help grow for the future.
This position needs the skills, experience and confidence to lead the design team and also contribute to the overall company management and direction. This is your chance to structure your design department people and systems for growth and efficiency. The General Manager emphasized that the company is keen to support a design manager that can position the department for the next growth phase. You will have autonomy to build and manage your department, with the committed support of the GM when needed.
You should have truss and EWP experience, and lumber takeoff knowledge would be a bonus. The existing team of designers will respect your ability to help and support them when they need help.
This is a strong, family owned company, with a solid commitment to work/life balance and frequent team building activities. If you want to put your experience to work in a great environment this is the place. This is an in-office position, for Canadian residents only.
Compensation: $90-100k+ depending on experience, with a great benefits package. Relocation is negotiable. Please inquire to discuss details.
